Our rotary flexographic printing and die cutting presses are geared to accommodate almost any size run. Since our printing presses can flexographically print and rotary die cut in-line, we can provide cost savings over other companies that must utilize additional equipment to print and die cut.

- Printing of variable & sequential information
- Logo printing in-line (registered or random printing, up to 4 colors)
- Digital barcoding
- Utilization of food-grade and medical-grade inks
- Water/Solvent/UV curable inks
- Specialty inks, including Reflective & Infrared (IR) inks
- Precision color matching
- Flood coating
We have extensive experience in providing printing services on various substrates to create value and to make finished disposable products. We can also laminate a medical-grade clear film over your printed material to encapsulate the ink, eliminating any risk of ink transfer or smearing.
For example — Pepin can print your logo on a medical grade foam as part of a finished body worn sensor to increase brand awareness of your product.

This printing process begins with a starting material that is wound on a roll. The material passes through a metering roller, which rotates in an ink tray. The metering roller transfers ink to the anilox roller, which then transfers to a print plate or print sleeve, which contains the artwork. The print plate(or sleeve) prints the image on the material. Each printplate is responsible for one printed color, therefore many plates or sleeves may be required to print the final artwork.
Flexographic printing is about more than simply applying ink to a substrate. Additional processes can take place in a single pass, such as lamination, embossing or die-cutting. Integrating these processes cuts down on the time required to complete a project. If you need to maximize production speed, flexographic printing is an ideal option.

While offset printing is similar to flexographic printing, flexographic printing utilizes the most versatile solution for business owners. Some advantages of flexographic printing vs. offset printing include:
- Offset printing requires indirect printing through a series of offset plates. Flexographic printing allows for printing directly on the substrate.
- Flexographic printing integrates die-cutting, folding and laminating processes into a single pass. Offset printing requires secondary processes for these tasks.
- Offset printing is only suitable for smooth and flat surfaces. Flexographic printing can be used for a much wider range of materials.

Offset
Offset printing is where the inked image is transferred (offset) from a series of plates to a blanket (any flexible material). The blanket then transfers the printing and images to the media. The media can be any material.
Rotary
A rotary press consists of either a series etched curved plates attached to a rotating cylinder or an etched cylinder. The rotating plates or cylinders are mated to an opposite blank cylinder. Paper is fed between the two cylinders. Ink is applied to the etched plates/cylinder, and when coming in contact with the paper. The ink is transferred to the paper. The paper can be sheet fed or on a continuous roll.
